Santiago en 1850
An editorial project led by the Architect and Doctor in Theory and History of Architecture, Germán Hidalgo. The general concept of the project was to present a text published in 1855 with a reading of our times.
Germán allowed me to oversee the design directions: defining the layout, character and paragraph styles, table styles, colors, etc. The challenges were various, including capturing a map of Santiago in a small format or taking graphic details from the original text and capturing them in this edition so that readers can be surprised as they read.
This book's publication was funded by the National Agency for Research and Development of Chile and Ediciones UC.
