Nouveau Typographic Specimen
This typographic specimen is the result of a 2018 heritage typography research project that aimed to explore the strokes and details in the architectural plans of Chilean architect Luciano Kulczewski. The goal? To create a display typeface that captured Kulczewski’s creative essence. Throughout his career, the architect integrated identity-driven typography into his architectural designs, using overlapping letterforms, exaggerated descenders, short ascenders, curving crossbars, and long, sharp letter bends.
